frequently asked questions

frequently asked questions

Do you hand paint each invitation?
That is a great question - but simply put, nope! While each illustration is originally hand-painted, they are then digitized with the help of our in-studio scanner + computer. Once the original paintings are scanned, we combine all of the elements into a single design using the Adobe Design Suite. We then send the final files off to our local, family-run printer to be printed in mass quantities. Custom paintings each take about 2-5 hours from start to finish depending on complexity, so digitization saves hours of time and allows us to work with a lot more SPC brides throughout the year!

How many suites are included in each wedding package?
However many you need! Design and printing are charged separately, so the flat design fee listed in the shop doesn't change based on the quantity of suites or method of printing.

How do the payments work for ordering a wedding suite?
Wedding orders are made in two payments. First, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure my services. The remaining balance will be due before your files are sent to print and may vary if we increase the quantity of your invitations or add additional design pieces. Payments can be made via PayPal or via Etsy by special request. 7% tax is applied to orders from North Carolina residents only. For more information on our process and pricing, visit this page

What is your timeline for designing a full wedding suite?
For semi-custom designs, it generally takes 4-5 weeks from the moment all of your content is sent to us and your initial payment is made until you receive your finished suite in the mail. When planning your timeline, please allot 2-3 weeks for design and processing, ~1 week for revisions and ~1 week for printing and shipping. For fully custom designs, please plan for a complete timeline of 3-4 months. (please note: timeline depends upon response time during revision rounds and # of revisions needed) For more information on our process and pricing, visit this page

What paper options do you offer?
All wedding suites are printed on White 100# Mohawk Everyday Digital Vellum (lightly textured cover stock paper). Contact us directly for alternative options such as handmade or deckled edge paper.

Do you offer samples?
Yes, each sample set is $15. This fee will be credited to your full wedding order if you choose to move forward with design. Each sample set includes one full suite of your choice, along with swatches of each kind of paper we offer. Contact us directly to order your samples.

Do you offer letterpress or gold foil?
Absolutely! Any of our wedding suites can be customized to fit these printing methods. Additional customization fees may apply.

What day-of wedding details do you offer?
Ceremony programs, reception menus, table number cards, place cards, escort cards, husband & wife chair signs, reception buffet signs, etc. If you have something specific in mind not included on that list, just ask! We'd love to make it happen.

I love the design of one of your wedding suites, but it doesn't match my wedding colors. Can the colors be customized for my event?
Of course! A well-branded invitation suite is key to setting the tone for your wedding day. Let us know and we will work with you to match the suite to your colors as best as we can. Additional customization fees may apply.

How much does a custom logo cost?
Pricing varies depending on style and intricacy. Our branding packages start at $750. To learn more about our branding services, visit this page or send us a message with what you have in mind and we'll send you a personalized quote!

What other branding collateral do you offer aside from a logo?

Can I mix and match different cards to make a variety set?

Can I order a print in a size other than the one listed in the shop?
